SPECIAL NEEDS BABY: Alba (aka Maggie) is the sweetest girl. She is blind. We took her from a county shelter so she would not be euthanized just because she has bad eyes. She is a pretty little lover girl and would do well in a home with another friendly (but not too wild) kitten that can be her seeing eye kitty as we have seen so often with blind pets. She should probably live in a one story home where falling off balconies or stairs won't happen. She has visited the vet several times now to be treated and determine whether one or both eyes need to be removed. At this time, they do not feel that is necessary although it is possible it could become necessary in the future. Meet Alba (aka Maggie) at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday during our weekly adoption event. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative. Apply to adopt to be the first to schedule a meet and greet.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Alba was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Alba’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Alba’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Alba’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
