Meet Sadie: Your New Stay-At-Home Bestie Are you a homebody who prefers couch time to crowd time? Do you binge Summer House and relate a little too much to Paige and Ciara’s bed-loving lifestyle? Then Sadie might just be your soulmate. Sadie is 6 years young with the zoomie energy of a pup—she’ll fly over your couch like it’s an Olympic sport. But once she’s done, she’s ready to snuggle up right next to (or on top of) you like the world’s softest, most affectionate weighted blanket. Outside adventures? Meh. Sadie’s a homebody through and through. She’ll gladly trot around the yard or join you for a short walk, but her favorite place is inside, in her safe bubble. (That said, if you have a yard—bonus points! She’s fast.) She’s food-motivated and will do almost anything for a treat… except maybe leave the house when it feels scary. Commands? She’s got “sit” (ish), “come” (when she feels like it), and “give kisses” down pat. She’s working on her confidence, but she’s gentle, sweet, and loves having a calm canine buddy to help show her the ropes. Sadie takes time to trust—but once she does, she’s yours. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, SADIE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and SADIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, SADIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the SADIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, SADIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
