This little powdered sugar piglet is SO ready to find her family! Once upon a time, Lindy was abandoned at a grooming salon, but thanks to her foster heroes, she never had to go to the shelter. We cannot believe she is still waiting for adoption; she is such a special sweet little girl!! Lindy is 4 years old, 51 pounds, housetrained, and has become great friends with her foster's resident dogs. We call her a powdered sugar donut because she can curl up into the tiniest ball when she wants to snuggle in somewhere. And, yes, occasionally, she snuggles up next to her foster's youngest, hoping for an extra snack to fall on the ground so she can (VERY HELPFULLY) offer her cleaning services. What a good girl! Lindy is an adorable, affectionate, chunky girl, and she's ready to find her forever home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lindy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lindy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lindy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lindy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
