Wonder is a friendly, affectionate dog who plays with his whole body and has giant elf ears that always reveal what he's thinking. He has a great personality, gets along well with docile dogs who don't mind his pushy playstyle, and loves being showered with affection. He will proudly carry his toys down the street, as if showing off his prized posessions to the world. Some of his happiest moments are sitting outside, squeaking his toys or laying down to ask for belly rubs while he bakes in the sunshine. Wonder has a heart as big as his extra-large ears, and he isn't afraid to wear it on his sleeve. While in our care, Wonder has been very receptive to training and learning new skills. His loose-leash walking could still use some polishing up, but overall, he does very well walking in the city. He's been fine with all handling, even allowing us to put on jackets and clothes without a fuss.We can't wait to find Wonder a great home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wonder was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wonder’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Wonder’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wonder’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
