About this Dog
Hi⦠my name is Cece. Iâm 3 years old and only 15 pounds, but sometimes it feels like the world is so much bigger than me. I didnât have the easiest start â I came all the way from Louisiana, and a lot of things still scare me: loud sounds, fast hands, unfamiliar places. When people first meet me, I might shake a little or try to hide behind something small. Itâs not because I donât want to be loved⦠itâs just because Iâm still learning how to feel safe. But I am -trying. Every day, I find a little more courage. I peek out from behind the blanket. I inch a little closer. I give a tiny tail wag when someone talks to me softly. Thatâs me being brave. Iâm not the kind of dog who rushes up to strangers or barks for attention. Iâm the kind who watches quietly, hopes gently, and loves deeply once youâve earned my trust. What I dream of most is a calm, quiet home â with someone who understands that bravery doesnât always look loud. Sometimes, itâs just a tiny dog taking one step forward instead of hiding. If youâve got a kind heart, a soft voice, and the patience to let me bloom, I promise you⦠Iâm worth the wait. With love, (and a tiny tremble), Cece :)

100% of Cece's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Cece.
Adopt Cece and Receive Cece's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cece's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cece's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cece, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cece's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cece was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cece’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cece’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cece’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
