Hiya! Iâm Sean and letâs get this out of the way first: Iâm adorable. Not to brag, but Iâve been told I have âthe face of an angel and the stubborn streak of a toddler.â Itâs called personality, folks. Iâve been at the shelter since January, and while the staff here are nice (they give great treats and belly rubs), Iâm ready for a home. A real home. One with cozy couches, snacks I donât have to share, and a human who appreciates the simple joys of a good nap and a slow walk. Iâm a one-dog kind of guy â no other pets, please. Especially cats. Iâm not saying they started it, but⦠well, letâs just say we donât vibe. I like my space, my routine, and my peace and quiet. Loud homes with chaos and constant activity? Not my scene. Think of me as more âcalm Sunday morningâ than âFriday night rave.â Now, letâs talk skills. I know basic commands, walk well on leash, and I do listen â even if I like to pretend I didnât hear you the first time (again, personality). Iâm super affectionate, great with people, and I bond deeply once I know I can trust you. I will absolutely follow you from room to room like your slightly clingy but very lovable shadow. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sean was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sean’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sean’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sean’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
