About this Dog
Meet Delia! Delia is 10 pounds of sugar and spice and everything nice! She's very positive and optimistic. She loves her own people and she loves to entertain guests. She loves having dog siblings near her size and loves to make new dog friends everywhere she goes! She takes a minute to warm up, but once she does it's laptime, cuddles and belly rubs! What kind of dog is she? We'd love to know! We see hints of Chihuahua, Papillon, Cavalier King Charles and Dachshund... what's your guess? Delia loves to go wherever you go and just spend time with you. You want to sit in the kitchen - she'll sit under your chair. You want to lounge outside - she'll lay under your hammock. When you're ready for bed, she'll get cozy under the bed. But she's most happy when you sit together on the couch watching tv! Delia announces her joy when you come home! And she has a lot to say when guests come to the house – it can look like she's barking because she's alarmed but she's actually just sharing her joy – loudly! She also barks in protest when you leave the house – we're not sure if she will quiet down over time or not, so probably not a good fit in an apartment or condo where she'll make enemies of your neighbors! She's eager to go for a walk. Grab the leash and she's ready to go around the block. She doesn't require anything too rigorous. We think Delia is between 2-4 years of age. She's in excellent health and she's up to date on all her vaccinations. She isn't yet spayed, but she will be before the final paperwork is done! Delia is crate trained, potty trained and an all around very good girl. We have not seen Delia with a cat yet, but we'd be surprised if they didn't get along. You might recognize Delia because we saved her after she suffered a vicious dog attack. Well, she's all healed up and has made a full recovery – both physically and emotionally. She's not looking back - just looking forward - to a life of love, laps and belly rubs! Delia's vet says she has a luxating patella – its not a problem now and it may never be a problem, or it might need attention someday in the future. A joint supplement is recommended. Adopt Delia and Receive Delia's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Delia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Delia's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Delia, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Delia's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Delia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Delia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Delia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Delia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
