Shane was able to take Kirk in get him better, cleaned up, and ready to be in a home to stay safe and loved. We don't know how long Kirk was on his own, forced to survive the outdoors. Kirk is slow to warm up, which we don't blame him! He likes his space and will come to you on his own time. He's a very sweet cat, once he learns he can trust you and you grow a bond with you he's a great companion! He's a gorgeous, laid-back boy who just needs someone to give him a chance and a safe, loving home to hang out in. Please contact Shane at [email protected]

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kirk - Courtesy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kirk - Courtesy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
