About this Cat
DOB: 11/06/19 Our tiny little Mandy Muffin. What a worthy rescue! Back in November we received a video from a community member who works tirelessly caring for stray cats in her neighborhood. A cat she had been feeding for at least five years (and had been spayed by a TNR group previously) was literally struggling to breathe. We took immediate action and brought her in, with the help of her caretaker whom she trusted enough to get her into a carrier. We were not sure initially if she was friendly, but despite being suspicious of new people (which is how she survived outside all these years!), once you gain her trust she is OBSESSED with snuggling! Mandy’s upper respiratory infection has long since cleared, though she still has an obstruction in her nasal passage. A sedated nasal cavity search did not identify any polyps, and due to the fact that she is THRIVING, the vet did not see a reason to pursue a riskier/more invasive procedure to search again. So, she sounds a little stuffy, but it does not slow her down. Her favorite pastime is eating wet food! And snuggling! And playing with her toys! And watching cat TV! And sleeping in her plug-in heated bed! Mandy would prefer her main caretaker to be a female, though she’s finally accepting the presence of a male. She can tune out children’s chaos and continue with snuggles, but is not likely to be friends with them. She has shared space with another female cat at times and did okay. She is so bonded to her human that she gets a little jealous if she has to share and might chase the other kitty away. Mandy is a quirky little delight and very petite at only about 6 lbs! She is ready for a home to call her own, and is so deserving of being spoiled after all she’s been through! Apply to adopt her today. This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

Adopt Mandy and Receive Mandy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mandy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mandy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mandy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mandy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mandy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mandy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mandy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mandy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
