Hello world, my name is Bubba and as you can see from my profile photos, I am quite the looker. Some would simply describe me as orange and white... I'd say I'm more of a marmalade and cream coloring. Wait until you see me stretch - I'm a long, lean, toy playing machine. Before I sing my own praises more, I should mention that I desire to be a solo kitty in my forever home. Don't let this deter you - the Bubba man brings the affection of several kitties combined into one charismatic being. My goal in life is to be with my human as much as possible - whether I'm at your feet while you fix dinner (I'm a poultry fan myself), snuggled on you while you dream, or playing with my favorite wand toy. If I could design my forever home, it would have a cat tower near a window, so that I could keep an eye out for pesky squirrels, rogue leaves and tasty looking birds. Who has four paws and moonlights as home security? - This guy! I would do best in a calm household, preferably with older kids and adults who are experienced kitty owners. While I am a one in a million type of guy, it would be great to have humans who understand the kitty mind and are happy to balance affection with quiet time. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bubba was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bubba’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bubba’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bubba’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
