About this Cat
DOB: 03/01/21 Dominic isn’t just a cat - he’s a unit. A chonky loaf. A certified big boy. This handsome, extra-plush gentleman was found abandoned in the woods behind a residential area, and despite our best efforts, no owner has come forward. Now, he’s on a mission to find a forever home - and maybe shed a few pounds along the way. Dominic is full of love (and maybe a few too many snacks from his past life). He’ll need a family dedicated to helping him slim down with a healthy diet and gentle play. He loves to purr, rub up against his favorite humans, and roll around to show off his impressive belly - though he prefers if you admire it from afar rather than give it a rub! Because he can be a little particular about where he’s touched, we think he’d do best in a home without young children (under 13). We suspect some of his sensitivity comes from being uncomfortable in his body, and with time, patience, and the right care, we believe he’ll be an even happier, more confident cat. Dominic is looking for a family that will give him the second chance he deserves. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet, chubby boy, he’s ready to return the favor with plenty of love and purrs! This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

Adopt Dominic and Receive Dominic's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dominic's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dominic's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dominic, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dominic's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dominic was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dominic’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dominic’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dominic’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
