Daphne is a very sweet girl! She loves hanging out with her human foster parents. She is good with cats and dogs with proper introductions and if they are also laid back. She does have chronic stuffy nose and runny eye. She has had lots and lots of testing and medications in the last year, but nothing serious has been diagnosed. Just that she will likely have it for the rest of her life. She doesn’t let it bother her one bit! She is a purr machine and loves affection! She is also litter robot trained > Keller's Kats Rescue Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit, volunteer run, no-kill rescue group that provides foster homes for homeless, abused or abandoned animals facing euthanasia. All of our cats have been spayed/neutered, received age appropriate vaccines, Combo tested, deflead, dewormed, and microchipped. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daphne- special needs was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daphne- special needs’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Daphne- special needs’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daphne- special needs’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
