About this Dog
Kayak is a city dog through and through! Like a native New Yorker, she enjoys long walks and she’s unbothered by loud noises and the hubbub of busy streets. Kayak always enjoys a rousing play session with her chew toys. After a long walk, she likes nothing more than a bit of food and rest. After a quick recharge, she’ll be ready to play again! This sweet girl is also housetrained and good with commands. Kayak would thrive with an adopter who keeps her physically and mentally active. Her favorite activities are walks around the neighborhood with lots of opportunities to sniff, reward-based training games and food dispensing toys she can lick or chew. Come meet Kayak at the Adoption Center during walk-in hours (daily, noon to 5 p.m.), or click the “Adopt Me” button to learn more here - https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/98f135aa-052c-4f41-bbd8-23ceb4e0f456 *The ASPCA Adoption Center encourages a $150 suggested adoption fee when adopting an animal. This suggested adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any and all amounts given at the time of adoption.*

Adopt Kayak and Receive Kayak's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kayak's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kayak's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kayak, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kayak's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kayak was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kayak’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kayak’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kayak’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
