Figaro (AL) is a male Terrier mix, estimated to be 18 months old at the time of intake in November 2024. Figaro is up to date on core vaccines and is microchipped. He will be neutered prior to joining his forever family unless there is a medical reason why it has not yet been completed (in which case RDR NYC will work with the adopter to ensure this is done at the appropriate time). Figaro is great with people, more mellow dogs and he is good with cats. This very cool looking guy ended up in a shelter before finding his way into rescue. He is suffering from a skin infection that has caused his fur to fall out, and he has a severe case of cherry eye. Our veterinary partner will fix Figaro up and we can't wait to see how even more handsome he is once his fur grows back! Figaro is a goofy, sweet, friendly boy. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Figaro (AL) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Figaro (AL)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Figaro (AL)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Figaro (AL)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
