About this Dog
Cole is a sweet boy who was surrendered to a shelter because the other dogs in his home were picking on him. But Cole has foster fur siblings smaller than him and would do well with similar dogs in his furever home. As always, meet and greets are required with any resident or frequently visiting dogs! He is still somewhat timid with new people and needs slow intros with people who come to visit. Once he knows you, he's perfect! No small children for this guy - Cole forgets he’s a big boy and may knock small children over with his big dog energy! He also forgets about personal space and loves to snuggle up to you, he may even try to sit on your lap! He loves toys (stuffies don’t stand a chance) and going for walks. He can pull in his initial excitement but settles quickly and is responsive to correction. His ears perk up when he hears tongue clicks and he comes trotting right to your side! He’s very good with his harness and leash, and has plenty of energy for medium distance walks. Cole is a very good boy and, while crate trained, is ok to be left uncrated. He does need a home with a fully fenced yard (physical fence, not invisible), as he loves exploring. He’s also very smart and eager to please, making him easy to train.

Adopt Cole and Receive Cole's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cole's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cole's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cole, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cole's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cole was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cole’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cole’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cole’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
