About this Dog
Location: Canandiagua, NY. Are you looking for a low key new best friend, hanging out in the yard, reading a good book, leisurely strolls through the neighborhood, lounging in front of the A/C? Look no further, Marge is your girl! Margie was surrendered to a southern shelter when her family decided they no longer had time for her. Marge has been the perfect, easiest house guest, and now she is ready for her forever home! Marge is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and cats. Marge loves to play with other dogs, she prefers to play with the boys in the house, she would do best with a playful male companion. No cats please, they are super fun to chase! Marge is house and crate trained, she is crated during the day when no one is home and sleeps right next to the bed at night! Marge is the perfect definition of a velcro dog, and loves to be with her people! We have no history of Margie living with kids, but being a middle aged lady, she prefers easy going company! Margie knows all her basic skills, sit, down, wait, and come! She walks great on a leash, making her the perfect companion for someone who loves easy going, enjoyable walks! Marge is 6 years old, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Marge is currently around 50 pounds, but shes working on her waste line! Questions? Email Margie's foster mom at [email protected] Marge is currently being fostered in Canandaigua NY. 100% of Margie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Margie.
Adopt Margie and Receive Margie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Margie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Margie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Margie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Margie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Margie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Margie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Margie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Margie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
