About this Dog
Location: Auburn, Alabama Meet Billie! She is a super smart little lady, and loves to be involved in any activity going on around the house. She is about 2 years old, so she has all the fun energy of a young dog, but with none of the struggles of raising a puppy! She’s bouncy, happy, and overall just a lovebug. She loves to run and play, but is just as happy to snuggle up on the couch in the evenings. She is both crate-trained and house-trained. She loves to play outside and has been a perfect lady on a leash, as well as being excellent off-leash. She is friendly with other dogs and loves having a playmate, but she wants to be the boss, so she'd be best suited for a family who understands dog body language and can comfortably manage pack dynamics. She has not been exposed to cats yet, but she didn’t show any interest in our goats or horses. Billie was surrendered by her owners when they had to move, but she has already undergone professional training, so she comes with pretty great obedience! She is very food motivated, and is happy to do anything you want for a treat. She is very intelligent, and in the few weeks I’ve had her, she has been a great addition. But she is ready for her forever home! Her ideal home would be a place where she can run and play, maybe with a few doggie friends that don’t mind letting her be the lady in charge. She hasn’t been tested with kids, but I think she would be fine with dog-savvy kids. She is completely vetted, healthy, and ready to find her perfect family. Please contact [email protected]. Adopt Billie and Receive Billie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Billie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Billie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Billie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Billie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Billie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Billie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Billie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Billie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
