Location: TN Hello, Im Athena. Im lucky enough to be in a foster home , but I am ready to find my own family. I am good with other dogs, especially male dogs, cats are cool, and I love the little humans. I love attention and I am a very loveable girl. She came from a bad situation and needs to hear that she is a good girl, and she js!!!! Athena is very loving and would make a great companion. Athena listens well. Her idea family would have a fenced in yard and another dog for her to have as a companion. She seems to jive better with a male companion. She has been exposed to cats and seems fine wirh them. In her foster home she has been exposed daily to multiple dogs. Athena could learn agility tricks. Shes eager to please. Athena is vaccinated,.spayed, currently on preventatives, and is 99% housetrained pending that she is taken out on a routine schedule. She walks well on a leash and if she decides to pull she is very easily corrected wirh commands. She knows several commands. Athena is a great girl who had a rough start and despite that she is truly a joy. Athena is located in Maryville TN. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Athena was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Athena’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Athena’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Athena’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
