Location: RI Spencer is a 15 week old puppy. She is female blue heeler mix. She is super smart and super dog friendly. She plays with other dogs and is a little interested in the cat but since she doesn't run she gets bored of her quickly. She is a little more reserved and shy around people but she still likes to follow you around. She enjoys snuggles and outdoor time while keeping a side eye on your where abouts. She loves to play with the other dogs but can be a bit shy around new dogs. She quickly warms up after some snuggles from the human. The ideal homes for this baby will be ready and willing to do all the positive reinforcement training. Potty training, leash training and obedience training. If you love dogs and building a relationship through training, this pup may be for you! We know she is adorable, but all puppies are cute! You'll need to have a lifestyle in place to accommodate an energetic, intelligent, playful puppy! She is curious and shy, so she does hesitate to approach the other animals in your house. Her new home will need to make sure the rest of the current fur babies living there are approachable and friendly. Puppy socialization classes are going to be a great way to expand his outgoing dog friendly personality. Please consider all the training a puppy requires before applying for adoption. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Spencer was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Spencer’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Spencer’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Spencer’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
