About this Dog
Meet Fandy! Fandy is another of the 4 we saved from euthanasia, just in the nick of time. She is a sister to Dandy – and, so, our best assessment (NO GUARANTEE) is that Fandy is about 5 months old and a collie mix (though, she is smooth-coated collie, meaning shorter coat). When you meet her, expect your heart to melt. She approaches with a very soft presence and loves some chin rubs. Fandy is also learning about life as a family member. She has struggled a little more with sharing her toys or food. But when she came to us, she was very underweight….And, so, she is in the process of learning that she will never be without food (or love or care) again. She did great for her bath, keeps her space clean and, so far, has been a quiet house guest. **If you are interested, YOU NEED TO APPLY. Also, a follow-up email to [email protected] is strongly recommended. To pursue adoption, please register on www.safeatlast.net. (Click Register on the left-hand side of our homepage.) When you receive your password on your email account, please log back on to our website to complete the SAFE AT LAST on-line adoption application. (Click Forms/Application on the left-hand side of our homepage and select the Adoption Application.) Once we have your completed application, if we feel you are a good match, we will contact you by email. (So, please check your SPAM.) Our process is straightforward but involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $450, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), apply. YOU CANNOT MEET OUR RESCUE ANIMALS UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO ADOPT. WE CANNOT CONSIDER YOU UNTIL YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THE FULLY FILLED OUT SAFE AT LAST ON-LINE ADOPTION APPLICATION. Delay in submitting your application will put you behind other potentially suitable applicants. Ultimately, approved adopters will be required to complete an adoption in Schoharie/Albany County. Thank you for your interest. (Sorry we will not respond to generic "check the box," "Is he available," "Can you give me more information" inquiries.) NYS Rescue Registry No. RR 087

Adopt Fandy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Fandy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Fandy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Fandy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Fandy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fandy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fandy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Fandy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fandy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
