Cocoa is an energetic bundle of fun and cuddles. He loves to play (and dunk his fuzzies toys in his water bowl), and he's also become more and more of a lap cat as time passes. He loves to hang out wherever the action is and be a part of the family. He is very smart and enjoys being stimulated. Cocoa likes to be in charge. He loves feeding time and even enjoys pets while he eats. He's great at letting you know what kind of handling and interaction he is looking for. It is good to note, that while he is strictly an indoor cat, he is very very quick, and will attempt to escape to the beautiful outdoors, so he'd love a window perch to observe the birds and extra caution should be used at the front door. With love and attention, Cocoa will respond with adoration and affection and he has been such a gift to my family for the time we've had him.We are looking for an individual or a family to adopt cocoa who can provide him with time and attention and love, as well as plenty of space to run around as this is what he is used to. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cocoa**Courtesy Post was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cocoa**Courtesy Post’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cocoa**Courtesy Post’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cocoa**Courtesy Post’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
