About this Dog
Omar was born around April 21, 2024, and weighs about 5. He and 21 other dogs were seized from a woman who was on the Animal Abuse Registry for Cattaraugus County. Omar is teeny tiny and just about as cute as they come. He has bilateral luxating patellas but gets around fine. He may require pain meds in the future. Please speak with your vet if you have any questions about luxating patellas before applying to adopt. Omar is shy but quickly becomes your best friend. Omar loves other dogs. We are suggesting older/respectful children if there are children in his next home, just because of his initial shyness and teeny tiny size. You will have potty training to do and we often suggest potty pads for these teeny tiny dogs with teeny tiny bladders. This is all we know so far and we will be learning as we go and so will you! "UPDATE from an experienced small dog handler! He’s a sweetheart!! he did really well… I mean, he didn’t wanna come out of his crate but once I had him out, he was fine. Didn’t nip, not once. Just really nervous. Does not like the leash. I warned anyone that reached for him or wanted to pet him, but he NEVER nipped or growled. Kids were able to pet him. " The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_500.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption. Can't Adopt Me? SPONSOR ME Look for the Link "Special Instructions to Seller" if you want to note a particular pet

Adopt Omar Otto and Receive Omar Otto's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Omar Otto's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Omar Otto's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Omar Otto, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Omar Otto's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Omar Otto was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Omar Otto’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Omar Otto’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Omar Otto’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
