Maxwell was born around March 24, 2025, and might top out in the 70-75 pound range when done growing. We did see Maxwell's parents, and both strongly resembled GSDS, but please remember we are just going on what we are told. Maxwell seems to be a very well-adjusted baby who will need normal puppy training but is very smart. We will be looking for a home with large breed experience to ensure this little cutie pie grows up to be the best family member he can be! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $550.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maxwell GSD was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maxwell GSD’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maxwell GSD’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maxwell GSD’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
