About this Dog
Olive was born around April 22, 2018, and weighs about 11 pounds. Rescued from a situation involving a previous offender on the Cattaraugus County Animal Abuse Registry, Olive is one of 27 dogs now looking for a fresh start. This sweet girl is learning what it means to trust and longs to shower someone with affection. While she may need a little patience to understand she's finally safe, Olive's gentle nature shines through. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is a calm travel companion in the car. There will be some housetraining work to do, and for smaller breeds with petite bladders, we often find that incorporating potty pads can be a helpful tool in the process. FOSTER MOM UPDATE: Olive is a little doll! She has been in her foster home for a week and is surely getting used to it.She likes her foster mom and dad and loves sitting in their laps. It is her favorite thing to do!And, she is on my lap as I write this. She is fine with the 5 other dogs in the house but has shown no interest in them. She does not need another dog to play with. She does like to check out the yard though. She also went out to a fundraiser and did fine with meeting other humans. She has improved in just a week on her leash work and potty training. We are working everyday on both. She is quiet in the car, after the first few minutes. She really is a sweet girl who will just need some time to get used to her new forever home. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_500.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. Adopt Olive Otto and Receive Olive Otto's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Olive Otto's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Olive Otto's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Olive Otto, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Olive Otto's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Olive Otto was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Olive Otto’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Olive Otto’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Olive Otto’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
