Alex was born around July 1, 2024 and weighs about 11 pounds. Alex is adorable with his pointy ears and fluffy curled tail! Alex hitched a ride to the rescue with a staff member who brings her dogs to work with her, and although he was a little surprised to find himself in a car with three strange giant dogs and a strange human, he was a wonderful passenger. Alex lived with children in his previous life, and we are told he is excellent with children, "as long as they are not hurting him". Alex will follow you around the yard doing chores and forms strong bonds with his humans. he is the type that will make sure you never go to the bathroom alone again! This is all we know so far and we will be learning as we go and so will you! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Alex Red was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Alex Red’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Alex Red’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Alex Red’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
