About this Dog
1 Year Old 70lb Orzo is as handsome as could be. This mellow guy is the perfect mix of sweet, quiet, and low-key, and he’s been a total dream in his foster home. House trained, crate trained, and incredibly well-mannered, Orzo is the kind of dog who just wants to be near you, go with the flow, and soak up your love. Orzo enjoys his daily walks, loves exploring the world at a relaxed pace, and absolutely melts for ear rubs and gentle pets. He’s affectionate without being clingy, curious but calm, and always happy to match your vibe. Whether you’re lounging on the couch or heading out for a stroll, he’s up for it. He gets along with other dogs and has a sensitive soul, he may get startled by loud noises or sudden movements but recovers well with reassurance. He’s been fine around kids on walks and would likely do well in a family home. His favorite “quirk”? He gently pulls on your clothes when you come home just to say, “I missed you!” Orzo would thrive in almost any home — with or without a yard, with kids or other pups, as long as he has people who are kind and present. He’s sweet, easy, and just wants to belong!

Adopt Orzo and Receive Orzo's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Orzo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Orzo's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Orzo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Orzo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Orzo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Orzo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Orzo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Orzo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
