Hansel is a 14 Year Old Pomeranian whose elderly owners could no longer care for him. Now, a previous adopter of our organization reached out, knowing she could trust us to find Hansel the loving home he deserves in his senior years. Hansel is both friendly with people and other dogs and even cats. He is not incredibly demanding insofar as his energy goes, but he greets the day by leaping excitedly and is really pretty high-energy for an elderly do (true to his Pomeranian nature). Hansel loves attention and isn't afraid to make his voice heard. Hansel would thrive in a low-key home with people who are around most of the time, as that is the environment he came from. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hansel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hansel’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hansel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hansel’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
