The perfect summertime treat, everyone knows, is Mister Softee! Softee lives fully up to his name: sweet, refreshing, and yes, soft! Mister Softee wants a human to love so badly. He wants pet, cuddles, your lap, and to make biscuits near you all day. He’s fearless, cuddly, and purrs like crazy. This guy is very athletic and so enthusiastic about playing, bounding around with his too-big paws and exuberant toddler energy. He’ll appreciate a human who will supply the puzzle toys and playtime so he can show off his moves. Other things he enjoys include: laying in your sink, kicking a cat nip toy, and grooming. He has a silky and very clean coat. He often slow blinks at his foster to let them know of his affection. Softee is approximately 3 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for FIV/FeLV. He has been dewormed and treated for fleas. We believe he would do well in a home with other cats or dogs. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mister Softee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mister Softee’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mister Softee’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mister Softee’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
