About this Cat
Is Tributary the sweetest cat ever? We have to give a resounding “Yes!” Tributary is an expert-level cuddler — on his very first day in foster, he climbed right into his foster mom’s lap and curled up, purring happily, and his cuddly sweet nature has only grown since then. While he’ll always take pets, scritches, and nuzzles, he’s also very happy to just hang out with you, whether it’s relaxing next to you on the couch or snoozing on your desk while you work. At around two years old, he’s still got bursts of kitten-like energy — he loves to chase a feathery wand toy! — but his overall energy level is very calm, easygoing, and curious. While his inclination toward affection and cuddling suggest he was an indoor cat, there are some aspects of cat life he’s still getting used to like watching birds out the window or eating churu treats (he often ends up with just as much his nose and whiskers as he does in his mouth), but he will happily let you brush him, pick him up, and handle his paws without any signs of aggression. When introduced to the resident cat in his foster home, he was very curious but respectful of her hesitation about a new cat being in “her” space until they both got accustomed to one another. It seems like he would be happy to have a feline friend to hang out and play with! He also warmed up quickly to meeting new people — while he might show a little shyness at first, before too long, he’d be nuzzling them for pets and scritches. More than anything else, Tributary just has so much love to give, and whoever adopts him will have a forever friend. He’ll chirp happily when you come home, headbutt your forehead, climb into your lap for snuggles, and rub against your legs while purring up a storm. He’ll thrive in a calm and loving home where he can get plenty of affection. We are so excited for this wonderful sweet boy to find his forever home! This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.

Adopt Tributary and Receive Tributary's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tributary's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tributary's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tributary, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tributary's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tributary was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tributary’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tributary’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tributary’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
