About this Cat
Meet Kit! This fluffy tux wakes up ready to get going with the most important meal of the day: breakfast! He’s not picky when it comes to food, and offering him snacks, especially Churu, is an easy way to win his friendship. Although a lounger at heart, when a playful mood strikes him, Kit will be on the prowl, ready to chase down springs, dig through packing paper, and tackle his favorite kicker toy. He has some boundaries when it comes to being petted, but his big purrs and forehead bunts will let you know you’ve found the right spot. Kit’s chirpy meows make it clear when he’s ready to hop into bed or onto the couch, and he would love to spend the evening relaxing with you as he grooms his luxurious tail! Once he warms up, Kit is a super soft and snuggly cat. His foster says, “He’s always bumping his head against my face because he wants kisses. I’ve never met a cat who does that before!”. We rescued Kit in Crown Heights from a neighbor's yard. He was very scared at first and warmed up once he knew he was safe. Kit is 1.5 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, negative for FIV and FeLV, and free of parasites and fleas. Kit will do great as a solo cat, and he could also go to a home with a resident cat. Kit loves other cats but can get overly enthusiastic around them -- so he'd need a confident, relaxed yet playful buddy. He also liked the (relaxed and friendly) dogs he's been in foster with. If you would like to meet Kit, please fill out an application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Please make sure to mention Kit as the cat and Suse as the rescuer. Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving another kitty.

100% of Kit's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Kit.
Adopt Kit and Receive Kit's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kit's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kit's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kit, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kit's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kit was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kit’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kit’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kit’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
