About this Cat
Harpoon is a sweet and energetic kitty who loves food and people. From the start, he was very friendly and frequently naps in laps or in bed with his foster. He is comfortable being picked up and loves being petted. He is playful with toys and gets the zoomies almost every night between 10-11pm! He is still learning to communicate, so sometimes he gives love nips to get our attention, which we are working on with him. Harpoon also loves food! You must be careful about what you leave out on the counter; manners are currently a work in progress. His current foster family includes a 15-month-old baby, and despite finding her dinner scraps very interesting, he prefers to stay out of her reach. He is very good, though, and has never swiped or nipped at the baby; he just runs away and finds spots to hide that are too high for her to reach. I don’t know much about his back story, but he is a young cat who will make a great addition to a family willing to help guide him a little on house rules! This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.

Please begin the process of claiming Harpoon Howard's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harpoon Howard was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harpoon Howard’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Harpoon Howard’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harpoon Howard’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
