About this Cat
Say hello to Sesame Seed! This sweet boy has overcome so much! He was found on the street in Bushwick on a frigid cold night, barely able to walk and on the brink of death. His foster mom managed to catch him and said he was one of the worst cases she had ever seen. Injured and starving, with frostbite on his paws, he was extremely shut down and in very bad shape. Almost 6 months later, Sesame Seed is an entirely different kitty! His gorgeous fur has grown back and he loves being petted and cuddled. He's curious, clever and affectionate and he loves playing with his toys! Sesame would do well on his own or with another friendly, younger cat. He's still learning to trust other felines, as it was clear he was bullied and injured while living on the street. Sesame Seed is about 4 years old and healthy. He is neutered, microchipped, tested FIV-/FeLV- and up to date on all vaccinations. If you're interested in meeting this sweetie, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Sesame Seed and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.

Adopt Sesame Seed and Receive Sesame Seed's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sesame Seed's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sesame Seed's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sesame Seed, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sesame Seed's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sesame Seed was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sesame Seed’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sesame Seed’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sesame Seed’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
