Meet Zeek! Your lovable, outspoken and ultimate best friend! If you're looking for an endlessly sweet companion who brings joy, play, and cuddles to every moment, Zeke is waiting to meet you! Zeke is a very outgoing and a vocal boy. While he may need a little time to adjust to his new home, once he’s warmed up to you he’s an absolute dream, who's loving, loyal, and full of personality! Zeke would do best in a home as a solo cat, as he is eager to be the king of his own castle. Zeke has a uniquely adorable way of asking for affection, he'll stand on his hind legs and gently pat you with his paw, as if to say, "Hey, more pets please!" It's one of the many reasons everyone who meets him falls in love. Zeke is the definition of playful! Zeke would thrive with someone who has time to focus on him, or with a family where there’s always someone around to play as the more people, the better for this social, energetic guy! Zeke was first spotted in City Line under the care of a local feeder. According to the feeder, he appeared about three months ago - clean, frightened, and clearly someone’s lost or abandoned pet. Now that he’s safely indoors, Zeke has traded his street survival tactics for cozy naps, window watching, and gentle affection. Zeke is approximately 6 years old, though with him energetic demeanor, he can easily fool you to be 2 years old! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and negative for FIV/FeLV. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zeke was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zeke’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Zeke’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zeke’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
