About this Cat
Meet Greysen, the ultimate Velcro cat! A day in the life of Greysen is nothing short of lap-loving, relaxed, and play-filled. With his down-to-earth demeanor and love of birdwatching, it’s no surprise to find him perched by the window, soaking up his daily dose of vitamin D while watching the world go by. Greysen was discovered in Cypress Hills while under the care of a local feeder. He had been a regular for many years, until one day, his feeder noticed he was barely eating and drooling from the mouth. After weeks of refusing food due to constant pain and discomfort, Greysen received a much-needed dental procedure. He’s now back to eating normally and is in good spirits! Greysen is approximately 6 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, free of fleas and parasites, microchipped, and has tested negative for FeLV. He tested positive for FIV but is asymptomatic - meaning he has a clean bill of health and will just need the same routine annual visits that all cats should receive. Greysen would do best in a home as a solo cat, as he is eager to be the king of his own castle! If you're interested in meeting Greysen, please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/, then identify SUSE as the rescuer and fill out the form! Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.

Adopt Greysen and Receive Greysen's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Greysen's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Greysen's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Greysen, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Greysen's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Greysen was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Greysen’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Greysen’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Greysen’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
