About this Cat
Bryonia Bristol is a special gal. She can be sweet when she wants to be, but mostly prefers to just hang out and watch what you're doing. She's not shy at all, she will follow you around and see what's going on, but if you touch her and she's not feeling it, you'll get a little swat (sans claw). We think she would come out of her shell more in a home with consistent socialization and patience, but she may prefer to just be a cat who prefers to hang out near you rather than be touched often (however, we've included video proof that she does love people, and even lets kids touch her). She needs to be given time to adjust in a new environment, and her adopter should be prepared to let her adjust at her own pace. She should start out in a small space like a bathroom to help her get comfy. Bryonia was recently being fostered by someone with the intent to adopt, and the foster decided to let her out of the bathroom as soon as she arrived home, and wanted to return her twelve hours later because Bryonia was hiding. Within a day, she was out of hiding at the foster's home, but she still wanted to return her. We know with time she would have come out of her shell so much. Bryonia just needs time and patience in a new environment, and we know she will make the best calm, independent, and beautiful companion. Can you give Bryonia a chance? This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.

Please begin the process of claiming Bryonia Bristol's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bryonia Bristol was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bryonia Bristol’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bryonia Bristol’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bryonia Bristol’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
