About this Cat
Ocean’s 12 is the embodiment of silliness! This 8 month old tabby boy sleeps most of the afternoon, saving his energy for his nighttime hijinks - running up and down the hallways at lightning speed, attacking wire bird toys, and doing somersaults over small toys. He’s been in a foster home with older children. He will occasionally mistake a human limb for a toy, so we’re teaching him how to be gentle and play with no claws. But he is also a lovebug and happily snuggles up next to us. My kids discovered he loves “baby time” - being held like a little baby and getting head scratches. His tail may twitch once but he’ll soon bliss out and fall asleep. When he’s not napping he loves to be with humans - he’ll be a little shadow and follow you from room to room, chatting occasionally (he isn’t extremely vocal unless he’s hungry). He loves to get underfoot and then sit next to anyone who might be on a couch or bed. He seems to want to scratch while standing on his back legs, and refused floor-based scratchers. I think we would appreciate a standing scratching post. Ocean is a fearless explorer, who loves jumping in the dishwasher and cupboards and in and out of other household appliances. We haven’t seen him with dogs or other cats so can’t provide any information there. But he is a source of endless entertainment - everyone’s screen time has gone down considerably since they have him to watch. This sweet guy is going to be an endless source of entertainment and sweetness for his adopter or adopters! This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.

100% of Ocean's 12's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Ocean's 12.
Adopt Ocean's 12 and Receive Ocean's 12's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ocean's 12's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ocean's 12's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ocean's 12, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ocean's 12's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ocean's 12 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ocean's 12’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ocean's 12’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ocean's 12’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
