Luan is a mellow and loving 5 year old boy looking for his forever home! He is immediately comfortable with any new person or environment, never shying away! Food motivated, he will sit waiting for dinner 30 minutes in advance. Luan is playful when he wants to be, but most of the time he just wants lots of scratches behind his ears and to lay in the sun. He will nap with you happily any time of day. Luan is a big fan of laser pointers, and any sort of attention! Perfect as a single cat household and first time cat owners. Luan is incredibly easy to get along with and even easier to love. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home. Luan was rescued with dental issues and had surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Luan was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Luan’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Luan’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Luan’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
