It is an absolute pleasure to introduce you to mis Penelope Pussycat, our senior gal ready to retire from the streets of Brooklyn. She is approximately 8 years old and was rescued with her 2 kittens that have already found loving homes. Penelope is timid with people that she doesn't know, but she is LOVING her fancy indoor life with human and feline companionship. She is still a little uncertain about being pet or picked up, but she will gladly sit next to you on the couch to watch the latest reality tv shows, a documentary, a romcom, or even a horror film - she's not picky! She realizes how lucky she is to never have to rough it on the street anymore. If you are open to giving an independent gal a forever home where she can live out her days in luxury, we'd love to hear from you. Penelope is spayed, has had a dental cleaning and extractions, she is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, negative for fiv/felv, and has been treated and cleared for parasites. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Penelope Pussycat was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Penelope Pussycat’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Penelope Pussycat’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Penelope Pussycat’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
