Introducing sweet Logan! Logan along with his sister Lunabelle (listed separately and seen with him in the 3rd pic) lost their home recently when their owner passed. They were rescued together as kittens from a backyard in Brooklyn and have been together ever since, however, they can be adopted separately as they love other cats and are fine alone as well. Logan likes to think he is a tough guy and has opinions and isn’t afraid to make them known, but under that tough exterior is a sweet kitty who will melt into tummy rubs and turn on his purr motor when it’s on his terms. Logan is looking for an experienced cat person who respects boundaries and appreciates a cat with personality. Logan can’t wait to be someone’s grumpy little soulmate. He responds very well to treats, especially when he is in his favorite place — basking in the sun on the windowsill. With patience, his curious side emerges and he loves to explore the house and investigate things. He also enjoys his scratching pad and sometimes playing with a wand toy. He especially likes the bell it comes with! Logan is about 8-9 years old. He is healthy, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is ready for a wonderful furrever home with a patient adopter who will give him time to adjust. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Logan was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Logan’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Logan’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Logan’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
