About this Cat
Schnitzel (tabby) and Mung Daal (black and white) are a sweet but shy pair of boys. It will take some love and patience to bring these two out of their shell, but it’s clear they will be loving companions once they learn that humans aren’t as scary as they think. Schnitzel is the more adventurous of the two. He’ll come out from their hiding spot while I’m in the room and explore. When I can get to him and pet him before he hides, he thoroughly enjoys it. I can coax Mung Daal slightly out of the hiding spot with the cat wand or Churu liquid treats. They both love playing with the cat wand. If I’m laying in the bed, they will both sometimes come to me and enjoy being petted and laying with me. I am working on introducing them to my cats. So far they seem content and very friendly, and love to watch each other on other sides of a pet gate. This cat(s) is currently in medical quarantine, if you are interested please let us know and we would be happy to discuss their treatment plan (generally about one month of treatment that we will provide).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mung Daal & Schnitzel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mung Daal & Schnitzel’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mung Daal & Schnitzel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mung Daal & Schnitzel’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
