About this Cat
Meet Moses! This incredibly sweet senior boy was found abandoned in a park in Williamsburg and let his finder pick him up and carry him home, purring the whole way. He purrs when you just look at him. All he wants in the world is his own human to curl up in bed with and the occasional catnip toy to roll around on the floor with. We could not adore this sweetheart more - his personality is perfect! Mosey does have a few health problems, as many older kitties do, but they are well-managed, though they may require a few vet visits every year to make sure the medications are still doing what they’re supposed to do. He has congestive heart failure, which really isn't as scary as it sounds! It's quite manageable, and it's even very possible he will no longer have that diagnosis soon, as his medications continue to work. He also has hyperthyroidism, which is super common in older kitties and also easily managed. He just needs two pills in the morning and at night, and he takes them with no problem - he's a very good boy. The medications are not expensive. Moses is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He’s happy by himself but doesn’t mind other cats as long as they respect that he’s an older guy who just wants to relax. If you’re interested in giving this perfect boy a loving home to enjoy his retirement, please fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Jennie AnneS as the rescuer. Thank you for your interest in a rescued kitty! All adoption fees and donations go to saving the next sweetie.

Adopt Moses and Receive Moses's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Moses's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Moses's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Moses, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Moses's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Moses was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Moses’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Moses’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Moses’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
