Say hello to beautiful young sisters Kuro and Shiro! These girls had a rough start and needed some quiet time in their foster home to bloom and blossom into the sweet, playful pair they are now. Both girls enjoy being petted and love to play. Kuro will do flips for a laser pointer and does an immediate elevator butt if you give her back scratches. And in an incredible recent development, Shiro has now gained enough confidence to sleep with her foster parents on the bed and demand pets with head butts. Watching these two together is the sweetest experience. Whether they’re chasing each other up and down the hall or curling up with each other for a bath and a nap, their love for each other is a special thing to behold. Kuro and Shiro are about 1.5 years old and healthy. They are spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and have both tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They are ready for a wonderful furrever home with a patient adopter who will give them time and space to adjust. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kuro and Shiro was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kuro and Shiro’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kuro and Shiro’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kuro and Shiro’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
