About this Dog
*Name: Lark*Age: 3 years old*Current Weight: 51 lbs *Rescued from: South Carolina *Adoption fee: $475Meet Lark – A Shy Guy Ready to Bloom Lark is a 3 year old staffy mix who’s just starting his journey to a brighter future. After spending the last 10 months in an overcrowded rural shelter, his time was just about to run out when SNARR stepped in. Now, Lark has finally gotten his lucky break and is heading to New York, full of hope and quietly dreaming of a loving forever home. This sweetheart is a gentle soul who’s still learning to trust the world. He’s shy with new people and tries to make himself small, unsure if it’s safe to be seen. But once he feels comfortable, Lark’s heart opens wide—and you’ll see the big, snuggly love he’s been holding in. He’s a real softie and a geniunely sweet soul with so much love to give.Lark is great with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a calm, confident canine friend to show him the ropes. He’s still learning the basics—like how to walk on a leash—and will need a patient family who can help build his confidence and show him, day by day, what it means to be safe and loved. He may be a little unsure now, but Lark is ready to blossom with the right family by his side. Adopt Lark and Receive Lark's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lark's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lark's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lark, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lark's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lark was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lark’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lark’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lark’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
