This resilient girl was originally found on the streets of South Carolina. Skinny and homeless, she gave all of herself to keep her three puppies alive until help came along and brought them to safety up in NY. All of Cleo’s puppies have found their forever homes and now it’s Cleo’s turn! With stunning looks and desire to learn, she's a quick learner, food motivated, and eager to please her humans. A winning combination and all the makings of your future best friend! What makes this girl the happiest? Having plenty of time to frolic in the yard and play fetch with pretty much any ball she can get her paws and mouth on. Her favorite toy? Well, she absolutely LOVES buckets. Yes, you read that correctly... buckets. This silly girl likes to stash all of her toy balls in a bucket, roll it around the yard, and toss it up into the air. It's equally hilarious as it is adorable to watch her have so much fun playing and entertaining herself. Indoors, Cleo is a love and happily entertains herself with chew bones along with pretty much any ball, toy or puzzle she can get her paws on! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and AC - Cleo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, AC - Cleo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the AC - Cleo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, AC - Cleo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
