About this Dog
*Name: Roxie*Age: 7 months*Current Weight: 35lbs*Rescued from: South Carolina, fostered in New York!*Adoption fee: $550Meet Roxie! Found as a stray in rural South Carolina, alongside her three littermates and what we believe were her mom and dad, this brave pup started life with more uncertainty than any puppy should. Thankfully, Roxie's story took a happy turn when she and his siblings were saved by one of our rescue partners, brought up north, and found a loving and safe foster family to take care of her. Roxie is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys being with her family, getting belly rubs and cuddles in exchange for puppy kisses. Roxie absolutely loves spending time outside whether it's going for walks, sunbathing and napping in the yard, or exploring the great outdoors. She's a quiet, easy going, and very well behaved. She gets along great with dogs and other kids, and once she knows you, you can tell how much she loves you by her tail that wags non stop! She would actually love to find her forever home with another canine companion or kids to grow up with. Roxie walks great on a leash, sleeps in her crate overnight, and is already housetrained. An eager to please pup and a quick study, she is learning and growing every day. She's in the process of mastering some basic commands every pup should know and has already mastered "sit", "paw" and "touch". At the end of the day, you'll likely find her curled up beside you or your resident dog before she likely falls asleep.Roxie is looking for a loving family who will give her the time, structure, and support she needs to grow into the confident, happy dog she’s meant to be. In return, she promises to offer a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, snuggles, and joy.
