About this Dog
*Name: Dallas*Age: 2.75 years old*Current Weight: 36.2 lbs*Rescued from: South Carolina, currently fostered in NY*Adoption fee: $475 Meet Dallas – Your Future Best Friend with a Heart of Gold! Dallas’s journey started on the streets of South Carolina, where she was found bravely caring for her three puppies. Thanks to a kind volunteer and SNARR’s quick action, this devoted momma was saved just in time. Now, her puppies are finding their forever homes—and it’s finally Dallas’s turn to be the center of someone’s world! Personality SnapshotDallas is the definition of a sweetheart—soulful, loving, and eager to bond. She’s still learning the ropes of home life but is blossoming more every day. Here’s a little about her: Affectionate and people-loving – she craves being close and adores cuddles. Curious and goofy – her playful side shines as she settles in. Smart and trainable – highly food motivated and loves learning new things! A little stubborn, a lot lovable – her spirited streak just makes her more endearing. Life in Foster CareDallas’s foster family says she’s making amazing strides at home! Some highlights: Crate-Free Success – Though she started in a crate, she's been sleeping on her cozy dog bed and staying loose while her foster works. Loves Training Time – She knows sit, down, stay, wait, place, catch, come, crawl, and leave it! Sessions are brief (10–15 minutes) because she’s young and easily distracted, but her potential is immense. Threshold Manners and No Jumping – Every day, she’s practicing polite greetings—and making fantastic progress. Adorable Cuddle Moves – When called, she sprints joyfully into her foster's arms for hugs. It’s as heart-meltingly cute as it sounds! Social SkillsDallas is working hard on her social skills. She can bark when she sees people or dogs at a distance, but: With patience and consistent training, she’s improving every day. Once introduced slowly to new dogs and people, she warms up beautifully and becomes a total lovebug. She already gets along well with her foster's three dogs and has learned to respect their bunny’s space! Slow, patient introductions will help her thrive in her new home. Mealtime TipsDallas eats lightning fast and sometimes chokes on her kibble. Her foster uses fun feeding methods like scattering food or rolling it in a towel to help her slow down. She also loves using her food for training games! Walks & Adventures Dallas is still mastering leash skills and can pull with excitement. With the right tools (snug collar or harness) and ongoing positive training, she’ll be a pro. She’s eager and wiggly when excited and can balance adorably on her hind legs to see what's going on. What Dallas NeedsDallas is looking for a forever family that’s: Patient, kind, and gentle Excited to continue her training and watch her blossom Willing to do slow introductions with new people and dogs Understanding of her past fears and committed to building her confidence Ready to soak up her cuddles, loyalty, and silly sweetness every single day Ready to Make Dallas Part of Your Family? Adopt Dallas and Receive Dallas's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dallas's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dallas's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dallas, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dallas's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dallas was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dallas’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dallas’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dallas’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
