About this Dog
Meet Dixie! Ever seen a dog wag her entire body with joy-from head to tail? That's Dixie! This sweet, playful, and energetic girl came to us from NYCACC and is now thriving in a loving foster home in Binghamton. At about 8 months old, Dixie is crate trained and mostly house trained. She gets along well with other dogs and even cats, but would do best in a home with older children (12+), as she's still learning her manners and may be a bit too bouncy for the little ones. Dixie is eager to learn, full of love, and ready to blossom into the amazing companion she's meant to be. She's fully vetted and ready for her forever home-please share to help Dixie find the family she deserves! ե All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.

Adopt Dixie and Receive Dixie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dixie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dixie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dixie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dixie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dixie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dixie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dixie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dixie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
