About this Dog
Bull is a sweet and gentle boy who is ready to find his furever family! He came from an outdoor hoarding situation where he had minimal human contact. Though still cautious with new people, Bull has mastered several basic skills - he is fully housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. He also has excellent recall and comes when called for food, treats, and at nighttime. Bull has an active personality and loves running and playing, and he would love a 5’ fenced yard and a canine playmate in his new home. Bull is submissive, and happy and playful with other dogs of all sizes, which have included an 8-pound Yorkie, and 120-pound Anatolian mix! He is non-reactive to cats and rabbits. With children, he remains fearful and does best with older, quiet, and gentle kids - he has allowed the resident 10-year-old to pet him, showing his capacity to build trust over time. This good boy is non-destructive, shows zero aggression, and is very quiet indoors. When outside, he demonstrates his guardian skills by alert barking to strange noises. Bull tends to be independent, comfortable spending time on his own while keeping a watchful eye on household activities. This handsome guy has long, soft white fur and LOVES being brushed. More of his favorite things include back and ear scratches, and treats like peanut butter and salmon! Bull’s ideal home will be with a confident and playful dog to help lead him, and a quiet family or individual who will be with him most of the time. He needs someone who will work to form a bond with him, who is extremely patient and committed to long-term training. If you’re willing to coax him out of his shell, you will be rewarded with the love and loyalty of our sweet Bull!
