Hi, my name is Cleo. Through no fault of my own, my kitten (Egypt) and I had to be surrendered to ARC. I have spent all of my life, around 2 years, studying the arts of snuggling and lap warming. I am proud to say that I am a leading expert in both fields. I love to snuggle. Sitting in a chair, laying in bed, on the couch, I am not choosy about where I snuggle with you. My favorite place in the world is on your lap. I won't pester you. I just like to be in the area ready incase your lap gets cold, you need a quick snuggle or a friend to listen to you. I am a quiet girl. I can easily be overwhelmed by choas and loud noises,so I require a quiet home. If introduced slowly to another calm kitty, I am fine. More than one other kitty or a playful kitty is too much for my ability to remain zen. I have had experiences with dogs. I am definitely not a fan, so I cannot go to a home with dogs. If you would like a quiet companion that loves to snuggle, and is happiest just sitting on your lap, we were made for eachother. Come meet me at ARC and let me be your next lap warmer. Hurry though, expert lap warmers are hard to find. It is recommended that cats be introduced slowly to one another, even if they are known to be cat-friendly.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cleo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cleo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cleo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cleo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
