About this Cat
HISTORY: REYNA was rescued after her Las Vegas home was sold and she was left behind to fend for herself. As is typical with many FIV+ cats, REYNA has no symptoms, is in excellent health and expected to live a normal lifespan. While conventional thinking is to only place an FIV+ cat in a home with no other cats or with another FIV+ cat, there are many “mixed households.” According to Cornell University, the primary mode of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) transmission is through repeated fights resulting in the exchange of blood, and it poses no threat to humans or other species. TEMPERAMENT: This pretty Dilute Tortie is a bit shy but friendly with humans and ready for a new furever home of her own. REYNA's rescuers report that she has been friendly with both cats and dogs in the past. As an FIV+ kitty, REYNA can live safely with other gentle cats. As some point along the way, REYNA lost all of her teeth, so she's more likely to swat than use her mouth when she doesn't like something. But most of the time, REYNA is a quiet, independent girl who enjoys head rubs. She'd probably enjoy a home where she can nap on a window will and watch the world go by. AGE: born approx. 1/31/2022 MICROCHIP #: -6980 DATE OF STERILIZATION: spayed, date unknown VAX RECORD: FVRCP #1: 2/1/25, FVRCP #2: 2/25/25; FVRCP expires: 2/25/26; Rabies expires: 2/14/26 FELV/FIV test: 2/13/25 FIV+ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ADOPTION FEE: $100 If you may be interested in adopting, please complete our online application: https://www.fandfnm.org/application. Contribute to Reyna's Stash!

100% of Reyna's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Reyna.
Adopt Reyna and Receive Reyna's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Reyna's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Reyna's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Reyna, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Reyna's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Reyna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Reyna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Reyna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Reyna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
